Alton Wells 
Alton's father was Alfred Otto Wells and his mother was Birdie Wilson Rustin. His maternal grandparents were James Harris Rustin and Joanna Lavenia Norman. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Clarence E., Wesley Llewellyn, William Henry, Mary Elizabeth, Jamie Iris, Alpharetta Olive, Joanna Lucile, Lenore Helen and Lillian Miriam.-
