John G. was born in 1755.  John G.'s father was George J. Weaver and his mother was Anna Elisabeth Dubois.  His paternal grandparents were Jacob Weaver and Maria Elizabeth Unknown. He had four brothers and a sister, named George G., Frederick G., Johann Nicholas, George Michael and Elizabeth.  He was the second oldest of the six children.
