Lydia was born in Lyme, New London, CT.1   Lydia's father was George Way and her mother was Lydia Sprague.  Her paternal grandparents were George Way and Sarah Neast; her maternal grandparents were John Sprague and Lydia Unknown. She had two brothers and nine sisters, named John, George, Mary, Dorcas, Sarah, Ireney, Aless, Hanna, Luce, Ann and Eunice.  She died in Lyme, New London, CT.1
