Mark Norton Watson 
Mark Norton was born in August 1876 in Bancroft Shiawassee Michigan.1 Mark Norton's father was William Ebenezer Watson and his mother was Martha Belle Norton. His paternal grandparents were John J Watson and Marietta Hunt; his maternal grandparents were Jonathan Norton and Ann Unknown. He had two brothers and two sisters, named John Albert, William Obert, Mary and Ruth Maryette. He was the youngest of the five children. He died at the age of 85 in 1961 in Grand Blanc Michigan.1 General Notes

Mark N. Watson has taken over the half interest in Watson Brothers firm at this place and here after will go under the head of M.N. Watson. Mr. Watson expects to carry out the business as is is already established making it an exclusive dry goods and furnishings store. This store carries a much larger and more complete stock that will be found in towns the size of this and we hope he may always continue to enjoy as nice a business as now goes to this store.
