Lawrence Washington

Lawrence was born about 1635 in England.¹ Lawrence's father was Lawrence Washington and his mother was Amphyllis Twigden. His paternal grandparents were Lawrence Washington and Margaret Butler; his maternal grandparents were John Twigden and Anne Dickens. He had two brothers and three sisters, named William, John, Elizabeth, Margaret and Martha. He was the youngest of the six children. He died in Virginia.¹
