Samuel King was born on August 19th, 1867 in Savannah, Chatham Co., GA.1 Samuel King's father was Jacob Ward and his mother was Sarah Charlotte Tutty. His paternal grandparents were Unknown Ward and Mary; his maternal grandparents were John Tutty and Harriet Susannah King. He had three brothers and three sisters, named William L., Richard, Jacob, Emma, Mary and Harriet. He died at the age of 68 on November 18th, 1935 in Savannah, Chatham Co., GA.
