Mary was born on February 14th, 1865 in Savannah, Chatham Co., GA.1 Mary's father was Jacob Ward and her mother was Sarah Charlotte Tutty. Her paternal grandparents were Unknown Ward and Mary; her maternal grandparents were John Tutty and Harriet Susannah King. She had four brothers and two sisters, named William L., Samuel King, Richard, Jacob, Emma and Harriet. She died at the age of 65 on July 15th, 1930 in Ludowicci, Long Co., GA.
