His paternal grandparents were Joseph Christian Vought and Christina Rhineheart; his maternal grandfather was Thomas Oakley. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Peter Christian, Thomas Christian, Isaac Christian, Unknown, Hannah, Phoebie, Anna Christian and Esther Christian. He died in Died on the Vought Homestead in Rome, Pennsylvania.1 -
