Achitias was born in 1773 in Peekskill N.Y..1   Achitias' father was Joseph Christian Vought and his mother was Christina Rhineheart. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Peter Christian, Henry Christian, Godfrey, Joseph Christian, John Christian, Hester, Margaret, Sarah Christian and Catherine.  He died at the age of 72 on May 19th, 1845 in 72 years Rome Cemetary.1
