John Christian was born in 1775.1   John Christian's father was Joseph Christian Vought and his mother was Christina Rhineheart. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Peter Christian, Henry Christian, Godfrey, Joseph Christian, Achitias, Hester, Margaret, Sarah Christian and Catherine.  He died at the age of 74 on February 15th, 1849.1
