John Christian was born in 1800.1 John Christian's father was Joseph Christian Vought and his mother was Judith Conklin. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Christian Vought and Christina Rhineheart. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Jesse, Richard Samuel, Samuel, Hiram, James Christian, Unknown and Abbie Jane.
