Laura Vickers 
Laura was born on December 20th, 1838.1 Laura's father was Absalom Vickers and her mother was Elizabeth Welch. Her maternal grandparents were Osias Welch and Elizabeth Rowland. She had a brother and six sisters, named John William, Mildred, Adeline, Florence, Antoinette (Nettie), Sarah Elizabeth and Mary Ellen. She was the oldest of the eight children.1 -
