Andrew Jackson Van Voorhees

Andrew Jackson was born on January 30th, 1824 in Washington Co., PA.¹ Andrew Jackson's father was Abraham Van Voorhees and his mother was Mary Workman. His paternal grandparents were Abraham Van Voorhees and Catherine Doty. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Nelson Holmes, Henry Clay, Almyra, Jane Cheevers, Elizabeth Dill, Lovisa Stearns and Maria Logan. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 48 on January 10th, 1873.¹
