Henry was born in 1725.1   Henry's father was Henry Townsend and his mother was Elizabeth Titus.  His paternal grandparents were Henry Townsend and Eliphal Wright; his maternal grandparents were Peter Titus and Mertha Jackson.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 78 on March 28th, 1803.1
