Samuel Thomas

Samuel was born on July 19th, 1859 in Shade Twp., Somerset Co., PA.¹   Samuel's father was William Thomas and his mother was Lucy Elizabeth Berkebile.  His maternal grandparents were Samuel Berkebile and Susan. He had a brother and six sisters, named Edward, Eve, Susan, Mary Etta, Anna, Phoebe and Sidney J..  He was the second youngest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 80 on August 30th, 1939.¹
