Eve Thomas

Eve was born in 1844 in Shade Twp., Somerset Co., PA.¹ Eve's father was William Thomas and her mother was Lucy Elizabeth Berkebile. Her maternal grandparents were Samuel Berkebile and Susan. She had two brothers and five sisters, named Edward, Samuel, Susan, Mary Etta, Anna, Phoebe and Sidney J.. She was the oldest of the eight children.¹
