Samirah Thomas

Samirah was born about 1860 in Arkansas.¹ Samirah's father was Vincent W Thomas and her mother was Sarah Sally Spivey. Her paternal grandparents were Ira John Thed Wilson and Mary Elizabeth Betsey Thomas; her maternal grandparents were James Spivey and Mary Johnson. She had seven brothers and a sister, named Morgan, Marion, Newton, James M, Marchant Nathanial, Leon, Jackson and Arkansas. She was the fourth oldest of the nine children.¹
