1   Samuel's father was Jeremiah Theus and his mother was Eva Rosana Theus???.  His paternal grandparents were Simeon Theus and Anna Wolser. He had a brother and two sisters, named George, Charlotte and Mary. He had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Simeon, Jeremiah, John, Ann and Elizabeth.1
