John Swain

John was born on July 11th, 1783 in Easenhall, Warws, Eng.¹ John's father was Isaac Swain and his mother was Elizabeth Hall. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Swaine and Elizabeth; his maternal grandparents were William Hall and Mary Gibson. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Isaac, Thomas, Isaac, Elizabeth, Mary, Sarah, Ann, Susan and Rebecca. He was the oldest of the ten children.¹
