Benjamin was born in 1674.1   Benjamin's father was Thomas Strong and his mother was Rachel Holton.  His paternal grandparents were John Strong and Abigail Ford. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Joseph, Selah, Benajah, Elnathan, Adino, Ephraim, Waitstill, Rachel, Submit and Ruth. He had four half-brothers and a half-sister, named Thomas, Hewett, Asahel, John and Maria.1
