Walter Stonecipher

Walter was born on June 7th, 1889 in Marion, Illinois.¹ Walter's father was James Sampson Stonecipher and his mother was Nancy Malinda Lewallen. His paternal grandparents were Jesse Stonecipher and Sarah Melton; his maternal grandparents were Walter Davis Lewallen and Anna Browne Or Brown. He had a brother and five sisters, named Bunavista Monterey, Anna Emerine, Lucy Jane, Ellena Tennessee, Flora Annette and Nina May. He was the second youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 2 on June 13th, 1891.¹
