Joseph Stonecipher 
Joseph was born in 1844 in Morgan, Morgan, Tennessee.1 Joseph's father was Thomas Stonecipher and his mother was Elender Goddard. His paternal grandparents were Ezra Stonecipher and Susan Curtis; his maternal grandfather was Thomas Goddard. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Jesse, Wayne, Curtis, Timothy, Ezra T, Lavina, Mary Dow, Louisa, Elizabeth, Susannah and Ruth Mahala. He was the third youngest of the twelve children.1 -
