Bethia was born in Springfield, Massachuesetts.¹ Bethia's father was James Stevenson and his mother was Joanna Miller Barber. His paternal grandparents were John Stevenson and Sarah; his maternal grandparents were Obadiah Miller and Joanna Coggan. He had five brothers and a sister, named Benajah, Jonathan, Sarah, Bashuah, John and Joanna. He had a half-brother named James. He died on June 11th, 1702 in Springfield, Massachuesetts.¹
