John was born on November 3rd, 1611 in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, England.1   John's father was William Ste(ph)venson and his mother was Ales Unknown. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Andrew, William, Elizabeth and Catheren.  He died about 1659 in Boston, Massachuesetts.1
