William Sterling 
William was born about 1660 in of Haverhill, Essex, Massachusetts.1 William's father was William Sterling and his mother was Elizabeth. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Richard, John, Nathaniel, Daniel, James, Elizabeth, Mary, Sarah, Abigail and Hannah. He had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Jonah (Josiah), Jacob, (Twins), Ruth and Ann.2 General Notes
