Joseph Sterling 
Joseph was born on June 30th, 1707 in Old Lyme, New London, CT.1 Joseph's father was Daniel Sterling and his mother was Mary Marvin. His paternal grandparents were William Sterling and Elizabeth; his maternal grandparents were Reinold Marvin and Sarah Clark. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Daniel, John, Elizabeth and Abigail. He was the second youngest of the five children. He had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Samuel, Richard, Mary and Sarah. He died at the age of 41 on September 19th, 1748 in Sterling City, New London, CT.1 General Notes
