Mary\Polly was born on May 16th, 1771 in Duxbury, Massachusetts.¹ Mary\Polly's father was David Standish and her mother was Hannah Magoun. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Standish and Mary Carver; her maternal grandparents were David Magoun and Rachel Soule. She had four brothers and five sisters, named Lemuel, David, James, James, Olive, Hannah, Lucy, Priscilla and Lucy. She was the youngest of the ten children. She died before April 4th, 1828.¹
