Desire Standish 
Desire was born on March 30th, 1725 in Middleborough, Massachuttes.1 Desire's father was Ichabod Standish and her mother was Phebe Ring. Her paternal grandparents were Alexander Standish and Desire Doty. She had a brother and two sisters, named Ichabod, Phebe and Mary. She died at the age of 57 on December 3rd, 1782 in Halifax, Massachuttes.1 General Notes

On 28 March 1786 David Hatch of Halifax, laborer, bought a lot in Tamworth from Silvanus Lazel of Bridgewater.
The will of phebe Standish of Halifax, the unmarried sister of Desire, dated 21 October 1808, proved 9 February 1818, names Lydia Hobart, wife of Isaac Hobart; Gamaliel Hatch; the three children of Ichabod hatch, deceased viz: Nathan Hatch, David Hatch, and Mary Bradford, wife of Calvin.
In 1819 Isaac Hobart and wife Lydia of pembroke, yeoman; Calvin Bradford and wife Mercy of Plympton, yeoman; Gamaliel Hatch, Jabish Hatch, and David Hatch, all of Tamworh NH, yeoman; and nathan Hatch of Gifford (Guilford) Strafford County NH, yeoman, sold to Nahum washburn of Halifax 60 cres which was the homestead farm of Phebe Standish, late of Halifax, singlewoman, deceased, who gave the land to them in her will of 20 March 1819. (Signatures include mary Bradford; Priscilla Hatch (right after Gamaliel Hatch); Molly Hatch (right after Jabez); Sukey Hatch (right after David Hatch) and Phebe Hatch (right after Nathan Hatch)).
