Robert Colwell Smith

Robert Colwell was born on December 18th, 1827 in Hartford, Hartford, Ct.¹   Robert Colwell's father was James Smith and his mother was Ann Colwell.  His maternal grandfather was Robert Colwell. He had two brothers and two sisters, named John, Joseph, Eliza and Sarah.  He was the youngest of the five children.  He died at the age of 68 on February 17th, 1896.¹
