1   Malissa's father was McLin Sills and her mother was Cinthia Holliman.  Her maternal grandparents were Samuel Holliman and Salome McCarthy. She had four brothers and three sisters, named William, Thomas, Joel, Albert, Betsy, Emeline and Rebecca.1
