Martha E. was born on June 21st, 1875 in Tattnall Co. GA.1   Martha E.'s father was Daniel Webster Sikes and her mother was America S. Kennedy.  Her maternal grandparents were Henry Kennedy and Polly DeLoach. She had two brothers and five sisters, named Spencer, Colquitt E., Emily, Ellen Tululah, Penny, Mary and Corella "Rella".  She was the fourth youngest of the eight children.  She died at the age of 27 on October 8th, 1902 in Tattnall Co. GA.1
