John Shepard 
John was born in 1627 in ISLINGTON, ENGLAND.1 John's father was Edward Shepard and his mother was Violet Welterton. His paternal grandparents were John Shepard and Rebecca Waller; his maternal grandfather was Unknown Wolterton. He had four sisters named Elizabeth, Abigail, Deborah and Sarah. He was the oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 80 on June 12th, 1707 in Hartford, Connecticut.2 General Notes
