Solomon was born about 1634 in Ashford, Derby, England.1 Solomon's father was Ralph Sheldon and his mother was Barbara Stone. His paternal grandfather was Arthur Sheldon. He had two brothers named Isaac and Samuel. He was the youngest of the three children.1 General Notes
