Olive Agusta was born in April 1886 in Sanilac County, Michigan.  Olive Agusta's father was Jacob Setter and her mother was Saloma Jobe.  Her paternal grandparents were Nikolaus Setter and Elizabeth Tuer. She had five brothers and a sister, named Alonzo Henry, LeRoy, John Harvey, Otto B., Harry and Mary Delilah.  She was the second oldest of the seven children.
