Thomas was born on July 2nd, 1623 in Woburn, Bedfordshire, England.1   Thomas' father was William Sedgwick and his mother was Elizabeth Howe. He had five brothers and four sisters, named William, Robert, John, Thomas, Steven, Mary, Rebecca, Francis and Elizabeth.  He was the second youngest of the ten children.1
