John Scoville

John was born about 1669 in Shapwick, Dorsetshire, England.¹ John's father was John Scoville and his mother was Sarah Barnes. His paternal grandfather was Richard Scovell; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Barnes and Mary Andrew Barnes. He had three brothers named William, Edward and Benjamin. He was the oldest of the four children. He died in Waterbury, Connecticut.¹
