Johannes was born in 1742.1   Johannes' father was Johan Frederick Schell and his mother was Maria Barbara Zahe. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Christain, Adam, Johan Jost, Jacob Frederick, Magdelena and Maria Margaretta.1
