Adam was born on April 5th, 1759.1   Adam's father was Johan Frederick Schell and his mother was Maria Barbara Zahe. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Johannes, Christain, Johan Jost, Jacob Frederick, Magdelena and Maria Margaretta.1
