Dena Roels 
Dena was born on February 11th, 1862 in Netherlands.1 Dena's father was Pieter Roels and her mother was Adriana Brandt. Her maternal grandparents were Adrian Brandt and Marie Zoetwyk. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Hendrick "Hank", Marinus "Frank", Peter, Katherine, Mary, Elizabeth and Infant. She died at the age of 82 on August 5th, 1944 in Holland, Michigan.1 General Notes

Dena Roels (2\11\1862-8\5\1944) married Marinus Shipper (Skipper ?) (1854-1923). Their children were: l. Peter Shipper (6\2\1885-10\25\1963) born in the Netherlands and died in Holland, Michigan. He married Grace DeBruin (DeBrijn ?) (1886-1977). They had many children with the oldest named Marinus. 2. Jennie Shipper (9\29\1892-____) born in Holland, Michigan and died in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She married Peter Visser (____-1973).
