Harold was born on December 19th, 1890 in Connecticut.1   Harold's father was Charles Ridge and his mother was Esther Lucretia Bassett.  His maternal grandfather was Peter Norton Bassett. He had a brother and four sisters, named Chester, Edna, Elsie, Esther Alma and Hazel.  He died about January 1986 in Wallingford, CT.1
