Bane Braxton was born on May 3rd, 1891.1   Bane Braxton's father was John Wesley Rewis and his mother was Georgian Holland.  His paternal grandparents were James Madison Rewis and Mary Cowart; his maternal grandparents were Lewis Holland and Caroline Sapp. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named James Harley, Marshall, John Lester, Millard, William Clark, Gladston, Clyde, Lottie, Essie, Mary Lena and Sula.  He died at the age of 73 on January 10th, 1965.1
