David Remington 
David was born in 1813 in Benton Co., Iowa.1 David's father was William M. Remington and her mother was Elizabeth Wood. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Remington and Mary ("Polly") Johnson. She had two brothers and a sister, named Joseph, William and Jane. She was the oldest of the four children.1 -
