Willis Reed 
Willis was born in 1877 in Bellefonte, Arkansas.1 Willis' father was Shadrach H [Shade] Reed and his mother was Mary Josephine Lynch. His paternal grandparents were Allen Reed and Willie Griffith. He had a brother and six sisters, named Clayton, Anice, Samantha, Dora, Firiby Frances [Fannie], Sophrona [Frona] and Mary. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 26 in 1903 in Bellefonte, Arkansas.1 -
