Samantha Reed 
Samantha was born in 1873 in Bellefonte, Arkansas.1 Samantha's father was Shadrach H [Shade] Reed and her mother was Mary Josephine Lynch. Her paternal grandparents were Allen Reed and Willie Griffith. She had two brothers and five sisters, named Willis, Clayton, Anice, Dora, Firiby Frances [Fannie], Sophrona [Frona] and Mary. She was the second oldest of the eight children.1 -
