Schofield Reed 
Schofield was born in 1874 in Scott, Tennessee.1 Schofield's father was John Reed and his mother was Pernetta Bowling. His paternal grandparents were Isaac Reed and Phariba [Rachel] Hatfield. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Elihu, Isaac, Harrison, Jasper S, Pernetta, Julia A and Phariba. He was the youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 44 in 1918.1 -
