Phariba Reed 
Phariba was born in 1866 in Scott, Tennessee.1 Phariba's father was John Reed and her mother was Pernetta Bowling. Her paternal grandparents were Isaac Reed and Phariba [Rachel] Hatfield. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Elihu, Isaac, Harrison, Jasper S, Schofield, Pernetta and Julia A. She was the third youngest of the eight children.1 -
