John Alan Purvis 
John Alan was born on November 22nd, 1910.1 John Alan's father was Homer L. Purvis and his mother was Florence Teresa Hopkins. His maternal grandparents were Charles R. Hopkins and Eugenia Bazemore. He had five brothers and a sister, named Edward Lafayette, Charles Homer, Thomas Theodore, David Atkinson, Joseph Hopkins and Eleanor Eugenia. He died at the age of 65 on February 2nd, 1976.1 -
