Margaret was born on August 24th, 1583 in Giggleswick, Yorkshire, England.1 Margaret's father was Adam Preston and her mother was Isabel Braithwaite. Her paternal grandparents were William Preston and Anna Saunders. She had four brothers and three sisters, named William, Richard, Richardus, Thomas, Janet, Janeta and Katherine.1 -
