Adam was born in 1564 in England.1   Adam's father was William Preston and his mother was Anna Saunders.  His paternal grandfather was George Preston. He had three brothers and two sisters, named William, Richard, John, Ellen and Alice.  He was the youngest of the six children.  He died at the age of 29 on November 8th, 1593 in Giggleswick, Yorkshire, England.1
