Elijah Pomeroy 
Elijah was born on February 15th, 1768 in Southampton, Mass.1 Elijah's father was Elijah Pomeroy and his mother was Ruth Phelps. His paternal grandparents were Caleb Pomeroy and Thankful Phelps; his maternal grandparents were Samuel Phelps and Mindwell Fowler. He had four brothers and a sister, named Stephen (Dea), Enoch, Samuel, Joel and Ruth. He was the oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 25 in 1793.1 -
